I have been living and painting in France since 2006. I still retain my penchant for joie de vie and double entendre, and those other English quirks. I've enjoyed painting all my life, but now I'm serious! I paint mostly in oils, generally brightly coloured in a medium size to small format. Subjects vary from abstract, through whimsical and enigmatic to classic landscape. Styles also vary considerably. People, animals, trees and urban scenes feature in many of my works.
