Basée dans le Sud de la France, Maroussia Chanut est une artiste plasticienne, sculpteur surtout connue pour ses sculptures de personnages tirés de la culture populaire, d’animaux ou d’humains à tête d’animaux, présentés dans des situations relationnelles humaines.

Son travail raconte des histoires, tout en questionnant notre Humanité à travers des moments d’existence tirés de notre inconscient collectif…

Dans un style pop plein d’humour, parfois tragique mais surtout revigorant, ses sculptures peuvent être miniatures en taille comme géantes.

Elle travaille avec une résine en base minérale qui se rapproche de la pierre. Elle utilise également de la dorure, de la feuille d’or, des pigments et des poudres de bronze et de cuivre.

Diplômée des Beaux-Arts, elle a été représentée par des galeries d’art contemporain à Paris et à Lyon, et exposé pour des fondations privées et dans des évènements comme Drawing Now ! au Carrousel du Louvre. Ses sculptures, aquarelles et dessins sont présents sur SaatchiArt et ArtMajeur et diffusés auprès de collectionneurs européens.



Located in the south of France, Maroussia Chanut is a visual artist and sculptor mostly known for her sculptures of characters from popular culture, animals and human beings with animal heads, presented in human relationships situations.

Her work tells stories, while questionning our Humanity through the moments of existence that we share from our collective unconscious.

Graduated in 2005 from the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, she's been represented by contemporary art galleries in Paris and in Lyon, and exhibited her works in private events for foundations, many exhibitions and fairs like Drawing Now ! at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
