My interests in sculpture revolve around my concept of man and nature. I seek to make work that develops as a result of my actions and natural reactions. I am interested in the manner by which we adapt to nature and the tenuous interplay that exists between society and the natural world. My paintings range from abstract forms to leaveless trees I try to evoke abstract ides through all of my work I am not interested in forcing the viewer to think a certain thing instead I strive to create a dialogue between myself and the work of art I am working on. In my mind creating this relationship for myself allows a viewer with any background to understand my art for themselves. I find the importance in art lies in the dialogue created between the viewer the piece and the artist.
