L’envie d’ailleurs me pousse à voyager, l’Europe, l’Inde, le Maghreb, le proche et moyen orient ... Au cours de mes voyages les pinceaux et crayons ont toujours été un moyen de rencontrer et d'échanger dans un langage universel .
En 2013, je découvre la couleur . Son besoin d’immédiateté, la place importante laissée à l’instinct me feront préférer l’ acrylique . Pour le dessinateur c’est un nouveau terrain de jeu qui s’ouvre, il faut désapprendre pour appréhender ce nouvel univers avec un oeil neuf, apprivoiser les couleurs, jouer avec la matière .
Ma démarche de peintre s’inscrit dans une tradition figurative, accrochée au réel mais pas forcément à ce qui est visible : la recherche de la beauté .
