In this work, this woman is represented in warm tones that complement her features very well. The flower I associated with her was carnations, partly because of the warm colors and partly because it seemed to me that the nature of this flower complemented her character and essence very well.

In this work, this woman is represented in warm tones that complement her features very well. The flower I associated with her was carnations, partly because of the warm colors and partly because it seemed to me that the nature of this flower complemented her character and essence very well.
This is the third work in the Diversity Explorations collection where I work in mixed technique (water-based ink, markers and oil) on Canson 250gr recycled paper from some work I did for a screen printing class. That is why on the back, you can see stains of the colors.
As I continued making the works in this series, it became clear to me that these girls had something in common:
They were diverse women, accompanied by some element that reinforced their character and personality. The series had given me to understand that each of them, as different as they were, showed as a whole, the beauty and value of ethnic diversity on this planet.
The reason this piece is in good condition, rather than very good, is because when I peeled the tape off the paper frame, it lifted a piece of the painting.

En esta obra, esta mujer está representada en tonos cálidos que complementan muy bien sus facciones. La flor que le asocié fue los claveles, en parte por los colores cálidos y por otra parte porque me parecía que la naturaleza de esta flor complementaba muy bien su carácter y esencia.
Se trata de la tercera obra en la colección de Diversity explorations dónde trabajo en técnica mixta (tinta al agua, rotuladores y óleo) sobre papel reciclado Canson 250gr de unos trabajos que hice para clase de serigrafía. Por eso en la cara posterior, se pueden ver manchas de los colores.
A medida que continué haciendo las obras de esta serie me quedó claro que estas chicas tenían algo en común:
Eran mujeres diversas, acompañadas de algún elemento que reforzaba su carácter y personalidad. La serie me había dado a entender que cada una de ellas, tan diferentes como eran, mostraban en su conjunto, lo bello y lo valioso de la diversidad étnica en este planeta.
La razón por la que esta obra está en buen estado, en vez de muy buen estado es porque al despegar la cinta del marco del papel, levantó un trozo de la pintura.
