Arthur David Fischer

Bio

Arthur Fischer, an artist born in New Orleans in 1975, is primarily self taught. With a focus on figure drawing, his skills were honed by studying painting, drawing, and figure sculpture. Arthur’s work is highly figurative with surreal and impressionist influences. Often working from life and photography Arthur’s eye is particularly drawn to portraiture as well as the naked female form. His primary desire is to create images that come alive through use of lines, shading and composition. He has worked and shown in a number of studios and galleries including Oliphant Studios (New Orleans, LA), City Art Studios (New Orleans, LA), Solomon Group Prod. (New Orleans, LA), KaDaN Productions (New York City), Jonathon Ferrara Gallery (New Orleans, LA), Townhouse Art Gallery (Brooklyn, NYC), and Danny Screams Studios (BK, NYC). Currently living and working as a scenic in New York City, Arthur’s future exhibits are ever in the works...
