The Fleeting World

The world in continuous process of transformation, in perpetual movement, everything in interdependence, co-existence, individual and collective simultaneously, influenced and influencing in chaotic order and orderly chaos, macro, micro, multidimensional and seamless transition, living, dieing, consuming and reproducing.
In the meantime, while I was producing this works, an idea and an image was brewing, that of dragons, specifically within the Buddhist context that it symbolizes the awakened mind, a Dragon mind. It has been intermittently appeared in paintings I have been doing throughout the years; when I left the subject behind, it still pronounced itself even in the abstract pieces, abstract dragons! It fully emerged a few months ago when I decided to add something to some old paintings I had and the dragon finally came into full view. They glide and soar, suggested or manifested, elusive and ephemeral metaphoric beasts that dwell and revel in the fleeting world.
