Born in Paris in 1963, Vincent Arin comes from an artistic lineage, his father being himself a renowned painter. From a very young age, he was immersed in the world of pigments and pastels, an immersion which would forge his passion for art.

Although his professional career initially led him to become an osteopath, art continues to tickle his mind in the background. In search of artistic expression, he began his creative journey with photography, seeking to capture moments imbued with visual sensitivity.

The pivotal year came in 2015. Vincent Arin decided to take the plunge and bring his own images to life, resolutely taking the brushes in hand. This transition marks the beginning of a new artistic adventure, imbued with audacity and authenticity.

The years 2016 to 2018 are marked by three successive exhibitions which propel Vincent's work into the spotlight. His art, constantly evolving, seduces art lovers and critics, thus establishing his unique style in the contemporary artistic landscape.

In 2020, Vincent decided to perfect his artistic skills by pursuing studies in visual arts at the prestigious Sorbonne in Paris. This year of academic exploration enriches his artistic approach while maintaining his fundamentally autodidact spirit.

Vincent Arin's inspiration is rooted in his ability to translate emotions into shapes and colors. He often begins his artistic process with figurative elements, which he transforms into abstractions to enhance their emotional value. This artistic approach gives rise to deeply emotional works, which touch the viewer at the deepest level of their being.

Currently, Vincent devotes himself to two main themes in his artistic work. First of all, it explores imaginary landscapes, evoking the style of the artist Zao Wou-ki, where the real and the imaginary mix to create captivating compositions. At the same time, he embarked on the quest for clean lines, a style reminiscent of the delicacy of the works of Jean-Michel Folon.

Vincent Arin favors oil techniques for their infinite possibilities of textures and nuances, as well as pastel drawings for their softness and fluidity. His art, both visceral and reflective, offers a captivating experience that transcends the boundaries of conventional understanding of art. With each brushstroke, he invites us to explore the deepest recesses of the human soul through the magic of colors and shapes.
