Elle est l'agrandissement d'une des positions de L'Oxalis IV avec des modifications de volume (Voir le texte de l'Oxalis II).
C'est une oeuvre importante dans mon parcours. C'est une sculpture démontable, avec des surfaces lisses patinées.
Assemblée, la sculpture tient d'elle-même. Ici elle est ancrée sur une base en noyer. (Possibilité de changer la base en bois pour une en laiton patinée avec frais supplémentaires).
Une version proche de l'Oxalis V existe, c'est l'Oxalis IX (1,70 mètres de hauteur).
Vincent Champion-Ercoli is a contemporary Canadian sculptor whose artistic vision is rooted in the aspiration for large-scale installations within natural or urban environments. His creations, meticulously designed with the intent of eventual enlargement, also find a life in smaller forms during the developmental stages of his projects, akin to models, residing in private spaces, accessible and serving as daily reminders of the emotions and inspirations that birthed each sculpture.
Champion's works often consist of multiple elements, either independent or converging to form a cohesive whole. Some sculptures incorporate mobile components, exhibiting slow and continuous movements or offering various positions and assembly modes, as exemplified by Oxalis IV.
