Alexander Kremer

Alexander Kremer, born in 1958 in Leningrad into a lineage of artists, was destined for the canvas and brush from a young age. With his father and grandfather as his first mentors, Kremer developed a profound love for nature and a keen eye for landscapes, a trait that would define his artistic journey.   

Educated at the prestigious V.I. Muchina Institute, Kremer mastered the nuances of natural color and plein air painting, embedding himself in the rich traditions of the Russian realistic school. His talent was undeniable, and immediately after graduating in 1974, he was honored with inclusion in the official Russian Artists' Union in both Moscow and Leningrad—an exceptional recognition of his skill and potential.   

Kremer's works, celebrated for their vibrant authenticity and depth, quickly found their way into esteemed venues such as the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum, affirming his status as an artist of remarkable distinction. His exhibitions spanned the USSR and beyond, from Tokyo's Gekosso Gallery to Paris's Drouot and numerous esteemed galleries across Europe.   

Today, a significant collection of Kremer's works graces private collections worldwide, a testament to his universal appeal and the unique connection his paintings forge with nature and realism.
