Biography

Lois was raised in San Francisco California where she began her painting lifestyle in 1962. She was self taught and decided to turn her love of painting into a career in 1972 when she began teaching others to make their visions into reality.

Lois paints contemporary realisim mainly in oils but has also worked in water colors in the past. Besides creating her beautiful full size images she has also produced many miniatures that are so detailed it is absolutely amazing.

In 1995 Oregon received the great benifit of having Lois choose to reside in the Willamett Valley. Besides doing her own painting she is currently teaching three classes a week and, even at 70, still manages to do commission work and take care of her garden.
