Né en 1984 à Vannes - Bretagne sud -, Charles Pringuay vit et travaille dans cette région. Il y trouve l’imagination nécessaire à ses peintures.
Charles Pringuay exprime sa créativité quotidiennement depuis le passage de son Brevet des Métiers d’Art.
Influencé par Picasso, Soulages, Basquiat, entre autres, son travail se situe à la croisée de la peinture et de la gravure. Charles Pringuay compose ses créations à l’aide de plusieurs formats de toiles s’assemblant en un seul tableau. Cette technique lui offre d’infinies possibilités et satisfait son goût de la recherche. A la finale, ses œuvres évoquent des matières naturelles telles l’ardoise, la terre ou celle de métaux comme le cuivre, l’acier et le bronze.
Nombreuses expositions en Bretagne et à Paris.
Depuis 2007, il expose à Saint-Goustan (56400 Auray).
