Yağmur Turan was born in İzmir in 1991; started studying in Nevvar Salih İşgören Anatolian Vocational and Vocational High School Graphical Design and Photography department in 2005 and stept into the life of arts by the education she took about color, texture, ways of seeing and design.
In 2013, right after her graduation with degree from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department, started her masters with thesis in Yaşar University Social Sciences Insti- tute Art and Design Main Art Branch, In 2016, with the consultment of Asst. Assoc. Dr. Mehmet Kahy- aoğlu, she graduated by the thesis named “Abstract Geometric Approaches in Turkish Painting”. Through her undergraduate and graduate education, participated interdisciplinary workshop studies of various artists.
Between years 2009-2017, alongside 3 of her own solo exhibitions, took part in various bianels, trianels, fairs and composite exhibitions. Her works which has gotten awards in many art contests also found their place in international personal and corporate collections. Yağmur Turan is continuing her studies in her workshop located in İzmir Alsancak.
