Albert Cruells werd geboren als kunstenaar op 11 september 1947.
Als zoon van een pianoleraar en een schrijver groeide hij op tussen rivieren en boomgaarden omringd door dieren.
A Op zevenjarige leeftijd had hij zijn eerste tentoonstelling in de slagerij van zijn grootvader.
Op achttienjarige leeftijd vestigde hij zich in Barcelona om architectuur te studeren.
Albert integreerde zich in de moderniteit van Barcelona en Cadaqués, waar hij verschillende tentoonstellingen houdt wanneer hij iets interessants te laten zien is.
Zijn werk wordt geïnternationaliseerd en het eerste boek over zijn werk wordt gepubliceerd.
De Vila Casas Foundation nam zijn werk over en de Antonio Saura Foundation wijdt een anthologische tentoonstelling aan hem en de publicatie van een verzamelboek van zijn hele carrière.
