Claude Huré werd in 1948 in Parijs geboren. Als kind wilde hij wandelaar worden, omdat hij dacht dat het een baan was. Hij zou later toegeven dat hij in deze richting zeer succesvol was.
Na een driejarige opleiding aan het Franse Instituut voor Fotografie werd hij een onafhankelijke professional voor bedrijven, ministeries of particulieren, terwijl hij verschillende beroepen uitoefende bij luchtvaartmaatschappijen. Hij reist veel, voor zichzelf en als vrijwillig fotograaf voor een NGO, waarbij hij altijd prioriteit geeft aan de rijkdom aan ontmoetingen boven de afgelegde kilometers.
Hij neemt deel aan talrijke individuele en groepstentoonstellingen, in Frankrijk en in het buitenland, met name in Italië.
Tegelijkertijd leerde hij tekenen en schilderen kennen door workshops te volgen als Visconti, la Grande Chaumière en Beaux-Arts de Montparnasse.
Vandaag de dag gaat hij onvermoeibaar door met het creëren van beelden in een nieuwe leefomgeving dicht bij de natuur. Landschappen en planten inspireren hem voor zijn onderzoek doordrenkt van intieme reflecties. Net als Candide komt voor hem na reizen en avonturen de tijd om zijn innerlijke tuin te cultiveren.
