Wilson Guevara è nato a Cartagena de Indias nel 1975.Ha trascorso la sua infanzia a Bogotá dove all'età di 16 anni ha iniziato a studiare presso la Academia de Artes Guerrero , in seguito sarà assistente di studio per David Manzur, studierà la figura umana con l'artista Alfredo Araujo Santoyo e studi di ritratto e figura umana con l'artista Nicolas Uribe. Nel 2007 si reca a Firenze Italia per studiare all'Accademia di belle arti di Firenze specializzandosi in figura umana, e studia alla scuola americana The Florence Academy of Art ricevendo una borsa di studio dalle direttive, diplomandosi come pittore professionista nel 2010, proseguendo successivamente studiare con l'artista Vitaly Stankov nel suo studio in SanMarco a Firenze.
Dal 2010 si dedica alla formazione e preparazione di artisti di tutto il mondo interessati alla pratica della pittura classica utilizzando il metodo appreso alla FAA noto come sigth size. allievo di Daniel Graves, Steph Bauman, Daniela Astone, Simona Dolci, MaurinHayd,con il quale ha perfezionato il suo modo di interpretare e semplificare il disegno e la pittura.Wilson Guevara è stato premiato in diversi concorsi di pittura in diverse città del territorioitaliano, tra cui il primo posto in un concorso di pittura naturale a Firenze. dipingendo la piazza di Santa Croce. Nel 2022 allo status di semifinalista nel concorso ARC.Vive e lavora a Firenze.
