Sofia Neri is een veelzijdige en veelzijdige kunstenaar, open voor de uitwisseling van kennis en begrip tussen mensen. Haar menselijkheid is geworteld in haar moeder, een danseres en pedagoog die leerling was van de beroemde Rosalia Chladek, en in haar vader, een psycholoog en geleerde.
Ze is pianiste, danseres en componiste, studeerde in het verleden ook viool en heeft een grote passie en neiging voor fotografie.
Ze heeft klassieke studies afgerond en een diepgaande studie gevolgd in de tak van de filosofie. Haar leven is een voortdurende zoektocht naar de expressie en het delen van de ziel en het zelf. Vandaar het vermogen om foto's te maken die een mystiek en filosofisch effect creëren door de observatie van de natuur of architectonische opvattingen of de bewegingen van dansers. In haar werken is er steeds een mooie verwevenheid van verschillende series die raken aan licht, niet-materie, natuur en dans. Samen met zijn partner Sandro Pignataro creëerde ze het Viool- en Pianoduo PhiloSophia waarmee ze deze ervaringen toepast en optreedt als ambassadeur voor mensen en bedrijven van deze nieuwe artistieke en culturele benaderingen.
