Marc is een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar. De enige zoon van kunstenaar/sculptuur/dichter Carol Vandermeir Levy. Marc heeft een BFA in film behaald aan het Philadelphia College of Art (U'Arts). Marc's carrièrepad na zijn studie ging naar de reclamefilm- en video-industrie. In 1985 richtte hij zijn verkoop- en managementbedrijf op, CAM inc. In 2006 verliet hij zijn bedrijf om zich volledig op de kunst te concentreren. Hoewel zijn wortels in de schilderkunst en film liggen, integreert hij vandaag de dag mixed media-elementen in zijn werk. Zijn fotografiewerk varieert van bnw straat, landschap en abstracte collage. Hij was een vroege pionier op het gebied van digitale kunst en in 2002 begon hij digitaal schilderen, filters en gelaagdheid in zijn kunst te gebruiken. Marc werkt vanuit zijn studio in Connecticut.
