Stéphanie Dambry is een kunstenaar die sinds 2005 haar artistiek onderzoek ontwikkelt in duo met Emmanuel Beckrich rond het volgende thema: Voyages sans frontières ©2005 ("Opeenvolgende gebieden tussen zwerven en socialisatie; Artistieke velden die openstaan voor de genomen van een beschaving; Geprogrammeerde identiteit of voortdurend in ontwikkeling?)
Hun artistieke benadering leidt hen tot uitwisseling, tot dialoog over hun persoonlijke microkosmische en macrokosmische gevoelens een perspectief. Ze bieden videografische, picturale, fotografische, literaire, sculpturale, geluidslezingen gecreëerd door een individu, die zich heeft aangesloten bij "de ander", over grenzen heen... fysiek, visueel, interpretatief... en voorbij het enkelvoud.
Stéphanie Dambry is autodidact in hart en nieren. Niettemin volgde ze in 1992 een kunstopleiding via een post-baccalaureaat kunstacademie in Frankrijk. Ze nam ook deel aan schrijfworkshops in Parijs in 1990 en een opleiding in lassen voor metalen beeldhouwkunst in 1993.
