Marina Solohova is een hedendaagse Russische schilder en beeldhouwer. In 2010 schreef de kunstenaar zich in bij de afdeling Arts and Crafts aan de St. Petersburg University of Technology and Design. Ondanks de tijdsdruk van haar studie slaagde ze erin schilderprojecten in opdracht aan te nemen. Na haar afstuderen zette ze haar artistieke reis voort en nam ze deel aan gezamenlijke tentoonstellingen in verschillende steden in heel Rusland.
De creaties van de kunstenaar omarmen mixed media, waarbij ze zich laten inspireren door kubisme, realisme en pop-art, en deze drie technieken naadloos vermengen tot samenhangende en boeiende stukken. Haar werken hebben een fundamentele focus op het uitbeelden van diverse plots en afbeeldingen die zijn ontleend aan haar eigen levenservaringen.
