The idea for the diptych "Fish-Heraids" emerged in Sri Lanka during the monsoon season, when tons of garbage are washed up onto the shores, creating mountains of plastic. The artist, who has been living in Asia for a long time, observes how humanity is severely polluting the environment. In his work, he calls attention to environmental issues. Fish skeletons, serving as allegories for the messengers of the apocalypse, rise from the ocean depths and herald the approach of a point of no return, where all the abundant life in the ocean could turn into a bottomless desert. However, the artist believes that humanity still has a chance to save life on Earth.
The painting was exhibited at an exhibition in America

About Me…My name is Katrin Rymsha, and I am a painter. My artworks serve as bridges between the visible and the invisible, the external and the internal worlds.

Our feelings, memories, moments of joy and sorrow are shaped by the influence of the outside world. The harmony or disharmony of our surroundings can either energize us or, conversely, drain us. Recognizing and experiencing this inspires me to engage in a dialogue with the viewer.

My painting is a deep dive into a world of associations and sensory images, an energetic flow on canvas. By freeing myself from realistic details, I gain a liberty that allows me to transcend the boundaries of the mundane into abstraction. By infusing my work with subtle meanings, perceived at a deep intuitive level, I draw the viewer into the endless realm of the subconscious.

My story is an exploration of the world around us, its boundaries, and their impact on a person's destiny. It's a dialogue with the viewer about the unfathomable and the accessible, an encouragement towards creation and love.
