Il surrealismo è un movimento letterario e artistico apparso in Francia nel 1924, scritto da André Breton. Può essere tradotto come "sopra il realismo" o "più che reale". Per il suo istigatore, è un dettato di pensiero, dove la ragione e le preoccupazioni estetiche o morali devono essere cancellate.
