Come definire stile Street Art ?
La Street Art, o Urban Art, è un movimento e una modalità di espressione artistica caratteristici della fine del XX secolo, all'inizio del XXI secolo. Riguarda tutte le forme d'arte prodotte nello spazio pubblico, indipendentemente dalla tecnica utilizzata: graffiti o spray paint stencil, adesivi, collage, mosaici, esposizioni selvagge, sculture, installazioni, performance... La creazione di opere di pubblico dominio è spesso illegale, e sempre effimero: questa è l'essenza stessa di questo modo di esprimersi. Molti artisti hanno segnato nel tempo il movimento della Street Art: gli stencil di Banksy, Blek le Rat, Jef Aérosol o Miss. Tic, attraverso i mosaici marziani di Invader, i collage fotografici di JR, l'esibizione sfrenata di Shepard Fairey (Obey) e Mr Brainwash, fino ai celebri personaggi di Jace (gouzous), Ernest Pignon-Ernest o di Monsieur Chat, senza dimenticare il graffiti ripetitivi di JonOne o Azyle, gli affreschi monumentali e colorati di Kobra o Jo Di Bona, oi pionieri del movimento newyorkese SAMO (Jean-Michel Basquiat) e Keith Haring, l'arte urbana oggi ha un'aura sopraffatta e forti rappresentanti.
