Installée dans le Roussillon, je me consacre à temps plein à mon activité de peintre.
Mes peintures retracent essentiellement le cours d’une vie riche de rencontres avec le paysage. Elles témoignent de mon regard sur celui-ci. Elles disent la mémoire de l’instant. Elles sont la projection d’un ailleurs. La couleur y tient une place majeure. La composition est solidaire du point de vue adopté. Le regard déambule de la vision panoramique à l’observation du détail. Il invite à l'évasion, à l’errance, au vagabondage, au voyage. Il se veut curieux.
La peinture est pour moi l’outil du regard et de la mémoire. Elle permet de reconstruire le moment vécu pour en dévoiler une lecture plus profonde.
Née dans une famille où la pratique artistique était omniprésente, je pratique librement le dessin et la peinture depuis mon plus jeune âge.
Après des études de droit, une vie familiale et professionnelle actives, je me ré-oriente vers des études d'histoire de l'art puis d'arts plastiques pour finalement enseigner ces disciplines à l'université de Toulouse-Jean-Jaurès.
Maintenant à la retraite, je peux me consacrer à l'art à plein temps.
