Gerd Reutter es un escultor alemán contemporáneo. Desde 1953, Gerd Reutter tiene su hogar en Mannheim, luego de un viaje que lo llevó por varios lugares de Alemania, Suiza y Francia. Durante ese tiempo, solía ser pintor, aplicando revestimientos resistentes a la intemperie a las estructuras de madera de las torres de cebolla de la iglesia de los jesuitas.
