How to insert a video in my mailings / newsletter?
For security reasons, most email programs no longer accept video players in emails. Only Gmail offers it only with YouTube video because both services are owned by Google.
How to share a Video by email?
- Place an image in your newsletter
- Click on the image to associate a link
- Indicate as a link the address of the video
The recipients of your mailing can then click on the image and access the video.
Optional: Use the thumbnail generated automatically by the video service
Video services automatically generate a thumbnail that you can use.
- For example for the YouTube video https://youtu.be/XY-4Gwr41GY
- the video ID is XY-4Gwr41GY
- the image automatically generated by youtube will be available at: https://img.youtube.com/vi/XY-4Gwr41GY/0.jpg
