I studied at the art institute in Venice, earning a diploma in Master of Art and a diploma in Applied Art, and later took the sculpture course at the Art Academy. The techniques I use are: Clay and unfired earth with various materials...

What motivated you to create art and become an artist? (Events, feelings, experiences...)

Art is a gift you receive from birth, the rest is study, research and application.

What is your artistic background, techniques and subjects you have experienced so far?

I studied at the Art Institute in Venice, earning a diploma in Master of Art and a diploma in Applied Art, later I took the sculpture course at the Art Academy. The techniques I use are: Clay and unfired earth with various materials.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

I don't follow tendencies of the moment, I follow my instincts.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I find inspiration from psychology, history and philosophy.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

In my work I want to emphasize human behaviors, frailties, fears and the desire for redemption of the invisible.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspired by art classics or other)?

The creation process stems from an idea, the rest takes shape in a spontaneous and not always controlled manner.

Do you use a particular working technique? if yes, can you explain it?

I mainly use raw earth, which I mix with plant fibers and other materials, ranging from gravel ,sand, leaves, etc.

Are there any innovative aspects to your work? Can you tell us what?

I can't say I'm innovative since raw earth has been used for millennia but maybe that's the innovation.

Do you have a format or medium that you feel most comfortable with? If so, why?

No, it depends on the circumstances.

Where do you produce your work? At home, in a shared lab, or in your workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

In my studio.

How do you envision the evolution of your work and career as an artist in the future?

Very difficult, given the cultural degradation we are experiencing.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

Man brought to abstraction to capture the essence, always in raw earth.

Tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

The eighth contemporary art fair in the city of Treviso. I will soon be exhibiting at Vernice art fair in Forli.

If you could create a famous work in art history, which one would you choose? And why ?

I would choose Michelangelo's unfinished works, because I find them disarmingly contemporary and they leave the doors of interpretation open.

If you could invite a famous artist (living or dead) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest they spend the evening?

I would invite Georg Baselitz to have a beer and smoke a cigar.
