About the author
I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. After taking numerous workshops with some very talented artists I returned to college to finish my education as an art major. In 1996 I received associates degrees in Fine Art and Commercial Art from Middlesex Community-Technical College. Then it was on to Central Connecticut State University as a graphic design major, finally graduating in 1999 from Charter Oak State College with a BS in Graphic Design/Business.
The discipline of graphic design has had a huge impact on how I visualize the composition of fine art pieces. Working mainly in watercolor or oil, I find that other mediums, mainly collage, pastel, and charcoal, are an interesting ways to develop a shift of creative perspective. A couple of the most interesting commissioned projects I've accepted were cartoon designs for tee shirts.
My paintings can be found in both private and public collections.
