Nicky Chiarello, born in 1956, lives and works in Argentina. She specializes in the art of automotive design, an area where she excels in capturing the brilliance and beauty of chrome, windows and pure design of vehicles. Using a photorealism technique, she uses mainly colored pencils but also oil and acrylic to create striking works.
Chiarello followed a rigorous training, obtaining in 1976 her diploma as Professor of Drawing and Painting at the Capital Federal of Buenos Aires, then continuing her studies in Graphic Design and Advertising until 1980. From 1980 to 1989, she specialized in heraldry at the Colegio Heráldico de la Capital Federal.
Recognized for her talent, she was the official designer of the Colegio Heráldico of Argentina. His works are present in several prestigious museums, including the Buenos Aires Automobile Museum and the Emiliozzi Brothers Automobile Museum in Olavarria. His drawings are also prized by collectors around the world, notably in Argentina, Germany, Africa, Brazil, Spain, Italy and the United States.
Permanent exhibitor at the art gallery of the legendary Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires, Nicky Chiarello features in the book commemorating the 150th anniversary of this emblematic café. One of his works was selected by a Ferrari club in Switzerland to create the advertising flyer for one of their events.
