About the author
Vardan Buniatyan, a contemporary Armenian painter, discovered his innate connection to art from an early age, expressing himself through drawings on walls and crafting figures from various materials like clay and wires. As he matured, the realization of his artistic pursuits prompted him to formalize his skills through drawing classes.
Embarking on his artistic journey with an academic foundation, Buniatyan initially explored traditional art forms. However, his evolving interests led him to delve into contemporary art, where he traversed styles such as photo-realism, neo-expressionism, and abstract art. Expanding his artistic repertoire, he ventured into genres like photo art, installation, performance, and other innovative directions.
In 2018, Buniatyan graduated with honors from the State Academy of Arts of Armenia, earning a bachelor's degree. His dedication to artistic excellence continued, culminating in the attainment of a master's degree with honors in 2020. Throughout his academic journey, he delved into diverse forms of expression, reflecting a commitment to both tradition and innovation.
Buniatyan actively participated in numerous group exhibitions, showcasing the breadth of his artistic exploration. In a significant milestone in 2019, he inaugurated his first solo exhibition, marking a pivotal moment in his artistic career.
