About the author
Born in Amsterdam I attended the Rietveld academie where I studied bellas artes . My dream however was in the fashionworld and soon I became a profesional model but painting still captured my attention. It was at a visit at Musée Matisse in Nice that I started to love the fauvism with it's bright colors.During the years I have made quite a few Matisse like paintings with acrylic paint on canvas but a few years ago I decided to develop my own style . I started to paint with oil and I must admit that I love this medium. In my artworks I don't strive to perfection but more to create an atmosphere where the viewer can use it's own imagination. I do hope that you like my work . Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions .
