In the 1990s, Profeta embarked on a unique venture, opening a knitwear workshop alongside his wife, Rossella. Together, they crafted designs and garments, showcasing their creative flair and entrepreneurial spirit. This endeavor not only allowed them to develop their craft but also introduced Profeta to a pivotal figure in his artistic evolution – the master Alfonso Madaluni.
Under the guidance of Madaluni, Profeta honed his skills and refined his artistic vision. This mentorship proved transformative, providing him with the necessary encouragement and insight to pursue a career in fine art. With Madaluni's encouragement, Profeta held his inaugural solo exhibition, a pivotal moment that marked the beginning of his ascent in the art world.
