About the author
Roxana is only 23 years old and has been painting before she could read or write. In the beginning, she used acrylic colours and then, at the age of nine she began painting with oils on canvas. Roxana was the first child in Romania who had a solo exhibition resulting in the whole event being closely watched by the mass-media. She was highly praised by the world of Plastic Art and encouraged by celebrities in the media, as well as by the mass-media. Roxana Donisanu has made a very rapid ascension in the art world. She has been invited to national television shows moderated by Mr Adrian Paunescu (a Romanian poet, journalist and politician) and Mr Ion Cristoiu (a Romanian journalist and publicist) and has had many newspaper articles written about her in a very short time.
In 1996 she was accepted in the "Henry Coanda National Foundation" for support of extremely talented Teenagers.
