Nacido en la costa norte del Perú, de ascendencia asiática, mexicana y peruana. Su vocación innata por el dibujo y la pintura se manifestó tempranamente. Se formó en talleres privados de reconocidos pintores, siendo uno de ellos Pedro Azabache Bustamante (Moche, 1918 - Moche, 2021) , considerado el último exponente del movimiento indigenista peruano en la pintura e integrante del Grupo Norte, y León Ricaurte Miranda, (Mera, 1934 - Guayaquil, 2003) fue un pintor ecuatoriano miembro del movimiento informalista y del Grupo VAN (Vanguardia Artística Nacional). Además, Salvador Rosado cursó estudios de Arquitectura e Ingeniería Civil.
Desde los 15 años, ha participado en diversas exposiciones pictóricas, tanto colectivas como individuales, tanto en Perú como en el extranjero. Ha obtenido diversos premios de pintura que reconocen su talento y dedicación.
Abandonó la comodidad de la vida urbana para adentrarse en la selva norte de Perú, donde encontró inspiración en los símbolos y códigos de las antiguas comunidades nativas, tanto selváticas como andinas. Su trabajo busca representar y preservar la riqueza cultural de estas comunidades, capturando su esencia a través de su arte.
A lo largo de su carrera ha revelado en su obra un pasado ancestral surrealista abstracto visionario, un secreto que solo él conoce, y que ha permitido que sus lienzos cobren vida con imágenes rupestres míticas y fascinantes. Su creatividad y dedicación continúan inspirando a quienes tienen el privilegio de conocer su obra.
Salvador Rosado sigue siendo un artista apasionado, indomable y desafiante, comprometido con su creación artística.
