Pierre Boillon è un fotografo che lavora nel campo della moda, della pubblicità e dell'illustrazione da oltre 40 anni.
Dopo aver lavorato per diversi anni sul tema delle "Somiglianze" nella natura e aver pubblicato un libro sull'argomento, ha cercato di variare i piaceri affrontando un altro tema simbolico: l'acqua. Vi si è avvicinato in due modi: prima in bianco e nero, con foto macro di minuziosi dettagli, poi a colori, con l'evoluzione dei coloranti che si diffondono nell'acqua. Ora sta lavorando su fotografie fluorescenti a luce nera.
Pierre Boillon è un artista con sede a Tolosa (Francia). Ha trascorso la maggior parte del suo lavoro in studio, creando immagini allo stesso modo artigianale di un ebanista o fabbro. Ha lavorato per molti anni con l'agenzia Getty. Ora si concentra sulla fotografia d'autore attraverso mostre e la vendita di stampe fine art firmate e numerate in edizione limitata.
