This year's, " Jidar - Rabat Street Art Festival " took place from September 16-26, with more than 20 international and Moroccan artists taking part, organized by the "Le Boulevard" group. Artworks by local citizens and a group of painters from the "Le Boulevard" association was displayed on the walls of the Moroccan capital during the festival's ten-day run. During this year's festival, a total of nine murals was painted over Rabat.

Since its inception in 2015, the festival has helped transform Rabat' alleyways, neighborhoods, and streets into "an experimental open-air studio for global urban art, visited by a group of well-known street artists, who aim to enrich its cultural heritage in the world of murals," according to Le Boulevard's description of the event.

In recent years, the number of murals in Rabat has grown significantly, with dozens of paintings on five-story buildings among the most recent examples. Artists from a variety of nations, including Peru, Mexico, Japan, Greece, Spain, and France, served as mentors for some of the students' art projects. To express their countries and the beauty of life when it is infused with love and brotherhood, these artists painted murals depicting scenes from their homelands.

Many other cities in Morocco, such as Casablanca and Agadir, and Settat have seen paintings in the past few years. Images depicting Moroccan life and tourist attractions such as old markets and ocean vistas are included in this collection. Also included are images of desert areas and other Moroccan scenery. The Jidar mural art event has become a worldwide icon after six years of continual inventiveness, according to Le Boulevard.
