Je travaille en taille directe, sans préparatif, sans modèle en terre ou autres matériaux. Cette façon de travailler me permet de faire des sculptures spontanées. C'est la spontanéité et l'imprévisibilité qui se retrouvent dans une œuvre. Je pense que la pierre est endormie et elle attend d'être réveillée. Un petit morceau de pierre deviendra une idée, une émotion, une illusion avec la prétention que je m'imagine maître de cette transformation. La pierre subit toute la violence d'un ciseau, d'un marteau pour être à la fin polie, caressée et embrassée. À la fin, je l'embrasse pour la remercier de me laisser faire car j'ai appris que c'est toujours elle qui a raison, c'est elle qui est un véritable maître.Si
Je dessine également depuis longtemps. Mes dessins présentent souvent des nus. Ils sont faits d'après des modèles vivants. Je découvre les lignes d'un corps et j'essaie de le dessiner avec des lignes simples et dynamiques. Chaque position de corps, entraîne de trouver sa ligne et le geste parfait.
