A l’école des Beaux-Arts d’Angers, j’ai développé un travail de superposition, d’empilement, couches, strates en utilisant des cartons ondulés récupérés.
Je créais ainsi une sorte de mille feuilles, des pavés de cartons dans lequel je venais ensuite creuser, soustraire la matière, pour rechercher un effet de profondeur et de noir profond. J’étais à cette époque fascinée par les fissures dans les murs, dessinant des lignes noires intenses, nettes et profondes.
J’ai poursuivi par la suite suivant cette démarche par un travail de superposition de plaques de verre dressées à la verticale par l’insertion dans un socle en bois. Entre chaque plaque de verre, étaient disposées des motifs et lignes noires produits à la peinture acrylique noire sur feuille de rhodoïd. L’idée était de créer à nouveau un effet de profondeur par transparence et superposition.
C’est encore ce principe qui m’a guidé dans le travail de peinture : superposition des couleurs, couleurs évanescentes, transparence, translucidité, flou, profondeur.
La ligne dans sa verticalité, la ligne sensible m’intéresse également.
Les dernières productions m’ont amené à une expression plus minimaliste.
En parallèle, j’ai toujours aimé représenter des végétaux, des fleurs par observation directe mais aussi me laisser guider par ma mémoire, produire un dessin automatique au crayon bille noir, au feutre.
Je suis sensible à la nature et sa préservation, créer avec des matériaux naturels, collectés m’intéresse pour donner une continuité à ma pratique.
