About the author
Né à Béthune dans le Pas de Calais, je dessine et peint depuis mon enfance. Autodidacte, je suis ingénieur en retraite et en profite pour m’adonner à ma passion.
J’ai travaillé dans le milieu du BTP sillonnant les Hauts de France et plus particulièrement les côtes d’Opale, Picarde et d’Albâtre.
Cette expérience a ancré en moi cette sensibilité de plages, mers, campagnes, de ciels balayés de vent d’ouest…
Je m’appuie sur les souvenirs et surtout sur l’imaginaire pour construire mes tableaux. J’aime la nature la mer et la campagne. Je m’y promène régulièrement, m’y ressource.
Je travaille essentiellement à l’huile laissant libre court aux styles et techniques selon mes envies et inspirations. Je réalise également des aquarelles quand je ne suis pas dans mon atelier Berckois.
Je ne peux me fixer sur un thème particulier, voulant réaliser plusieurs sujets à la foi. En effet dans mon esprit ainsi que dans notre monde tout évolue très vite.
