Née en Normandie il y a 58 ans, je suis venue au dessin et à la peinture relativement tardivement car j’étais en quelque sorte «complexée» en voyant le travail de mon père, lui-même artiste. J’ai construit ma vie professionnelle à Paris et donc vécu pendant 30 ans en lointaine banlieue parisienne. Mais depuis trois ans et demi, j’habite au cœur du Livradois-Forez, en Auvergne. En effet, je suis retournée aux racines de ma famille maternelle. Passionnée par les animaux, on les retrouve très fréquemment dans mes œuvres, qui sont majoritairement réalisées à l’acrylique. Je suis très influencée par la culture amérindienne. Est-ce parce que j’ai adopté deux enfants de cette ethnie en Colombie ? Par ailleurs, j’aime représenter la féminité dans sa beauté et dans sa fragilité.
