About the author
Marc Cuxart was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1962. From an early age he was involved in the visual world, between the photography and cinema.
After to graduated in Barcelona, he works as Director of Photography on feature films, documentaries, television series, commercials and shorts. His career took him from Spain, to EEUU, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Perú, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
Based on the inspiration he finds in painting, the cinema allowed him to explore the luminous "climates", the narrative atmospheres, the moods corresponding to differents situations and characters.
But is in the photography that he goes deeply into the subtle travel of light, the dialogue with shadows, the discovery of textures, the creation of volumes: "I like to walk into the shadows to discover its lights ...".
