Davis Y is a French photographic artist.
"Photography has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I enjoyed looking at the photos in the magazines placed on the coffee table at my parents' house and I immortalized everything I saw with a camera of some kind. not very special... He didn't have any film."
He creates artistic compositions by combining his own photos and old reworked Polaroids. Digital art has revolutionized his daily life. It's a wonderful way to expand your creativity, to merge, to associate bodies and landscapes, shapes and colors.
His latest project is called Shinjuku99.
In 1999, he went to Japan for the first time, visiting its capital Tokyo in particular. He visits several art galleries and discovers the sulfurous works of photographer Araki. The Shinjuku99 project is a tribute to the artist and the city of Tokyo.
