Abstract Expressionism is the figurative art of the Soul, the need to depict the deepest feelings, real self-portraits of the emotions that emerge from the uncontrolled unconscious taking shape in a creation where the most hidden part becomes the protagonist in the simplicity of the gesture that anyone can make, it is the secret of man that still few understand and of his soul, remaining among the most hidden and incomprehensible impulses.
Abstract art is the art form that comes closest to the mystery of creation, to God sublimating man's need to have answers to questions that remain without and how the abstract frightens and disorients, becoming difficult to understand and you run away.... but there are moments when you can't and this is the moment when the work takes shape and color and must be lived. It encourages reflection and frees the thought that one simply needs to be able to listen to in a world made up of often contradicting moods, a world where one can live profound experiences of confrontation and confrontation in the continuous search for oneself to remedy the restlessness that never found an explanation and not even a solution.
I've always had the instinct to express and impress my deepest emotions but I've always repressed them because the fear of facing them has always won over everything, believing I'm not able to express them, hoping that by repressing them they would be lost in time , perhaps I would have continued like this if I hadn't been given a large canvas by a person who wanted to challenge this never practiced will of mine. I had the candid white canvas at home for months and I looked at it with fear without understanding or knowing what to do, almost with a feeling of reverence I approached it but then I lacked the "courage" to dirty it and I walked away with fear, I saw it so big so unattainable like a climber facing the highest of mountains, a real challenge with myself. After various failed attempts in the hope of daring by overcoming all these fears of mine, one day I got so close that the canvas itself literally overwhelmed me and I entered it in an almost unreal dimension as if catapulted into another world, disoriented and intrigued by the same moment pushed almost wanting to go back, without the possibility of being able to do so and being forced to go forward in an attempt to get out of that situation by following that path avoided for so many years, a sensation that I can perceive touching the canvas, when I understood what that I had made
