At 17, in Paris, I played jazz and wrote. At the age of 21, Alain Robbe-Grillet became interested in my work, which he followed for around ten years. At 25, I moved to Morocco where I still live.

Publication of a short text by Editions de Minuit in 1977.

In 1978, production with Christophe Pollock of a feature-length fiction film which will be awarded an award at the Cinéma en Marge festival in Paris.

1985: publication of 7 texts in Otherwise, Marrakech behind the doors.

< p>Several publications in Moroccan magazines from 1988. Production of two sound and light shows in historic sites in Morocco. Production of around fifteen corporate films between 1989 and 1996.

1993: production of a short film on the Moroccan artist Abbes Saladi.

Started painting in 1993.

1994: production of a short film on the Moroccan artist Chaïbia. Until 1997, several short films on contemporary French artists passing through Marrakech, commissioned by the French Institute of Marrakech.

1995: first painting exhibition. Since this date, seven personal exhibitions in France and Morocco, four group exhibitions and participation in the Réalités Nouvelles salon in Paris from 2002 to 2005.

1998: publication of the book Haïk, le drapé des femmes d' 039;Essaouira with photos by Abderrazak Benchaâbane.

For l' 2021: publication of an art book by Senso Unico editions: Saladi, Histoires sans fin. 2022, publication of a collection of stories testifying to the daily life of the Berbers of the High Atlas: Imin'dunnit, the end of the world.

I never wanted to be an art professional and, whether writing, painting or making films, I have always done what pleased me.
