About the author
Serhii Brylov is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor. His educational journey laid a strong foundation for his artistic pursuits. From 1986 to 1992, he attended the Taras Shevchenko Republican Art School, followed by a transformative period from 1992 to 1998 at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, where he earned his B.A. in Sculpture. He furthered his academic journey from 1998 to 2001 at the same institution, obtaining his M.A. in Sculpture. Throughout this educational odyssey, Serhii's passion for sculptural art blossomed, establishing the bedrock for his future accomplishments.
In 1995, he cemented his status as a member of the Kyiv Organization Youth Association of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, marking a significant step in his professional journey. By the year 2000, he proudly became a member of the esteemed National Union of Artists of Ukraine, further solidifying his position within the artistic community.
Serhii Brylov's works have found their place within esteemed private collections across the globe, spanning countries such as the USA, Denmark, South Korea, Germany, Austria, Canada, and Switzerland. His artistic influence is equally palpable in public institutions, as evidenced by his pieces gracing the Museum of Kyiv History and the Regional Natural History Museum in Vyshhorod.
