J'ai commencé à étudier dans la mode et le textile à partir de mes 16 ans, apprenant à coudre et concevoir des vêtements dans ma région d'origine, ma belle Alsace, avant de m'en aller pour Paris. Ma véritable intention a toujours été celle de dessiner et de créer ; j'ai ensuite étudié le stylisme de mode et le design et ai été diplômée en tant que Styliste/Designer. Toujours à Paris, j'ai travaillé en tant qu'assistante styliste pour une marque de vêtement spécialisée dans le cuir et en tant que styliste pour la télévision française, avant de quitter la Ville Lumière pour la capitale de la mode italienne, ayant un faible pour la culture du pays, ses paysages nordiques et sa langue. Depuis, je suis basée à Milan et fais ce que plus j'aime et me stimule : dessiner, peindre et créer.
En illustration, j'aime m'attarder sur les détails et utiliser la patience requise comme une pratique méditative pour toujours rester dans un état de paix intérieure et de calme, pour m'harmoniser avec le moment présent, la présence en moi qui m'a inspirée mon amour pour le dessin. Je définis mon art comme étant fin et délicat. Mes techniques bien-aimées sont le crayon - très bien taillé -, l'aquarelle et l'encre.
EN: I started to study fashion at 16, learning to sew and to make clothes in the region I am originally from in France, before moving to Paris. My real purpose has always been to draw and create; I studied fashion design and got a diploma of Styliste/Designer. Still in Paris, I worked as a leather fashion designer for a French brand and as a stylist for French TV before leaving La Ville Lumière for the Italian fashion capital, as I really love Italian atmosphere, culture and language. Since then, I am based in Milan and do what I love to; in other words, drawing and painting.
In illustration, I like to dwell upon details and use the patience required as a meditative practice to always remain in a state of inner peace and calm, to harmonise myself with the present moment, the presence within me that has inspired my love for drawing. I define my art as being fine and delicate. My beloved techniques are pencil - very well sharpened -, watercolor and ink.
