Living in the South of France since 1995.I have always been drawn to art since I was child without really finding my way in. Twists and turns in my life, challenges after challenges, going from one job to another then ultimately finding myself in front of a blank canvas. With the rising of new media, we might perceive images as taking over words, however we tens to underestimate their impact and to forget that words are linking images together with our feelings.
I wanted to freeze frame as if swimming against the overwhelming flow of information which we don’t have time to process anymore.
An image becomes a real jigsaw puzzle which must be deciphered to understand its true meaning.
My artwork is inspired from historical or day to day events or societal isssues.
