David is an American photographer, stands at the intersection of artistic tradition and contemporary expression, weaving the ideals of pictorialists into the fabric of his work. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in both musical and artistic influences, David's creative journey burgeoned during his formative years as a member of the Ridgewood Camera Club.
Post-college, David delved into the realm of large-format film, marking the beginning of his self-taught exploration into the intricate world of photography. His approach, akin to an independent study master's degree, allowed him the freedom to experiment with various techniques and refine his distinctive style.
At the heart of David's photographic endeavors is a therapeutic exploration of imperfections, an intentional departure from mainstream ideals.
