Azul Iturri
Azul Iturri was born in Malaga, Spain, at a very young age, settled in Argentina. His childhood takes place in the sine of a family of plastic artists, his parents being his first teachers in the trade.He studied Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National University of Córdoba, concurring contemporarily to the Carlos Peiteado Workshop.He has participated in different activities, exhibitions and shows such as: "Romance Gaucho", in Kencha, Enterprises Galleries - Victoria, Canada, - 1995 and 1996; Colectivo Familia Lovera.1996-97; Painting Rooms "Chamber of Construction Argentina" - Cba.- 1996/7; First National Biennial of Art - Buenos Aires - 1997; VII International Art Fair BA 98 - Praxis Gallery - Buenos Aires - 1998; Shows Teatro Real, Cba. - 1998; Praxis Gallery, Bs. As. - 1998; IX National Painting Salon - Regional Prize "Raquel Forner" (Mention) - Santa Fe - 1998; III Avon Foundation Biennial Award - Centro Cultural Borges - Bs. As. - 2001; Sample "Vestida de Percal" - Cabildo Histórico de Córdoba - 2003; Shows "The Golden Years of Cinema" Cultural Center Spain Córdoba - CBA.- 2003; XI Salon Painting Regional Raquel Forner, Santa Fe - 2003, Collective Exhibition of the La Ferroniere Workshop, Professional Council of Economic Sciences - Córdoba - 2017, Collective Exhibition in the Museum Fuente Álamo, together with the group of artists Spaint Art One 13, Murcia, Spain - 2018; Exposition Collective, Pedro Cano Foundation Museum, Murcia, Spain - 2018; International Art Exhibition Contemporary and Culture, Melilla (Spanish autonomous city, North Africa) - 2018, Prado Goyart Gallery, Madrid, Spain - 2019. In 2014 he opened the doors of his own Painting Workshop in Córdoba, which he currently manages. Between the years 2015 and 2018 he ventured into realism, forming with the teacher Claudio Bogino. Currently his works are part of different private collections, they are exhibited in Prado Goyart Gallery, Madrid, Spain, as well as virtually Artemissa Art Gallery, in New Barbizon Art Gallery, and Art Gallery Clatia , located in the city of Chengdu, Republic Popular China.
