What inspired you to create art and become an artist (events, feelings, experiences...)?

As a child, I was fascinated to watch my uncle, an artist blacksmith, cast iron.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?

I started creating works by forging and then experimenting with different techniques: welding, casting, polishing, brazing; the subjects are varied, they can be characters or fantasy, it comes naturally to me to create.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

I believe in the uniqueness of the technique first, then all my works are original and always relate to different subjects, they are meticulously detailed and made by hand and therefore always present unique details. In my works we start with the conception of a 3D drawing, always experimenting with new techniques and using new tools and technologies in the field of art and creativity.

Where does your inspiration come from?

Odds and ends, it seems to come naturally...and then sometimes I dwell on famous people, adding something special that reflects my artistic brand.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

The vision I would like to convey is beauty: feeling, perfection and originality.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or other)?

The process always takes place at night and arises from a thought or an event that particularly struck me, then I am always in search of beauty.

Do you use a particular working technique? If yes, can you explain it?

Different techniques but above all an in-depth knowledge of metalworking, from forging to casting, including welding, polishing, brushing, etc.

Does your work have any innovative aspects? Can you tell us which ones?

Various aspects ranging from 3D scanning, 3D drawing, to the use of innovative equipment such as tig welding, laser cutting, etc.

Where do you produce your work? At home, in a shared studio or in your own studio? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

I produce everything in my workshop, a workshop specialized in Capri Leone artistic work in the province of Messina (Italy)

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what do you get out of it?

I don't like to be the center of attention, that's why I rarely participate in art exhibitions or events. I prefer to send my works to be exhibited, but anyway, I have traveled enough, because travel enriches your creative universe.

How do you envisage the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?

I am very optimistic, because in recent years I have had a lot of success in the artistic field.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

I don't have a specific theme, I'm always looking for beauty.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

At the Miit Museum in Turin (Museo Internazionale Italia Arte Moderna)

If you could create one famous work of art history, which one would you choose? And why ?

Arnaldo Pomodoro (Sphere with Sphere) why I don't know, maybe because his works are a mixture of techniques and particularities of different craftsmen.

If you could invite one famous artist (living or dead) to dinner, who would it be? How could I suggest you spend the evening?
